We offer Traditional Chinese Acupuncture and Needle Free Laser Acupuncture.

Traditional Chinese Acupuncture is an ancient, powerful system of healing the body using very fine needles to stimulate healing in the entire body and mind. It has been used in the far East for 3000 + years to heal people. Even up to the present day, it is still one of the main systems of healthcare in the Far East and has been popular in the West since the 1970’s.

Acupuncture aims to restore balance and harmony to the body by using the patient’s own energy and self-healing abilities.  Acupuncture helps to relieve muscular tension, increases circulation, and enables deep relaxation. By relieving stress, Acupuncture strengthens resistance to disease and promotes wellness.

Acupuncture itself is a holistic therapy. Holistic means it treats the “whole person.” Rather than treat one symptom at a time, holistic therapies aim to balance the whole body, mind and emotions. Once the body is balanced, it is easier to fight disease and ill health.

How can acupuncture help me?

Acupuncture can help hundreds of health conditions such as – Pain, Illness, Joint Pain, Digestive problems , Circulation problems, Immunity, Fertility, Hormonal, Skin disorders, Weight Loss , Addictions and can help to relieve Stress, Anxiety and  Insomnia.

How many treatments will I need?

This depends greatly on what type of condition you have. Most people will begin to see results from acupuncture in approximately 3-7 treatments. Treatments are generally administered once per week until your issues improve and then follow-up appointments may range from a few times per year to monthly to bi-weekly.

Most people find acupuncture treatments extremely relaxing and effective and may decide to come in for treatments after their initial conditions improve. Acupuncture is an important aspect of an overall health improvement and disease prevention program.

Does acupuncture hurt? What are the needles like?

Acupuncture needles are sterile, single use and very thin. Acupuncture needles are not much larger than the diameter of a piece of hair and most people feel nothing when the needles are inserted. It is well tolerated by all from infants to first timers in their 90’s. People are surprised to see how thin acupuncture needles are and any hesitation about the treatment disappears after the first few needles are inserted. With our techniques and painless needling methods the treatment is an enjoyable experience and the vast majority of patients simply fall asleep during the treatment.
